Honcho sets the bar for power, body, and overall efficiency! He is the deepest bodied, easiest fleshing bull that has ever been produced in the Power Plus program. His dam is from a long line of cow families that have produced generations of successful cattle. Honcho’s paternal granddam, 943D, is a full sister to OCC Freestyle, a bull that was one of the first and most prominent sires in Power Plus history.
The calves Honcho is producing are impressive as he stamps them with his body depth and maternal look. They have come very easy at birth, proving his low birth status.
The pedigree of Honcho boasts some great genetics, however the absence of Emblazon in his pedigree make him a new avenue for breeders looking to outcross genetics for Emblazon and 6807.
Phenotypically, Honcho is impressive in person. In addition to his body and mass, at nearly 2500 pounds, he is still impeccably sound and perfect footed. He should transmit a great deal of longevity to his daughters and offspring.
