»Convoy is the result of generations of selective breeding in the Wheeler program. Convoy
is a real-world sire that will add performance, natural muscle shape, and hair in a practical
mature size. Convoy has the herd bull character and maternal heritage we feel will move our
program and the breed forward. His sire, Stark, has taken the breed by storm on both sides
of the border being a red descendant of the Angus sire Brooking Bank Note. Stark progeny
has added muscle, fleshing ability, docility and are making ideal cows. His first daughters in
production are the right kind and have exceptional udder quality. Convoy’s dam is a unique
breeding piece that stamps her progeny with her added muscle, hip shape and ideal hind leg
set. No matter how she has been mated she knocks it out of the park with progeny excelling
in the pasture, show and sale rings. An Annie Oakley daughter was named Grand Champion
Female at Louisville for Twin Willows, and many daughters have claimed banners at shows
in Canada.
